To allow the flow of your celebration to proceed unhindered and in accordance with your reception plan, we contact and thoroughly acquaint your catering/banquet staff, photographer, videographer and venue personnel with your unique agenda and timeline. During the festivities, from behind the scenes, we assure all the entertaining segments and memorable moments you've chosen to feature are well-paced and well-presented. As your Entertainment Director, we serve as the reception coordinator and follow a Reception Entertainment Checklist which we attend to before and during the festivities: - Caterer/Banquet Staff, Photographer and Videographer contacted and acquainted with positioning, agenda and timeline ___
- Venue set up to accommodate the flow of entertainment ___
- Access to unlocked circuit breaker panel ___
- All equipment, accessories and props poised and ready one hour prior to scheduled start time ___
- Bridal Party Holding Area established with usher assigned ___
- Entrance area for Grand Entrance defined and attendant assigned ___
- Handheld microphone arranged for the person giving blessing, welcome or introduction ___
- Banquet/Catering Staff informed and in readiness for first food service ___
- Procedures established for Bride and Groom’s food ___
- Time Schedule confirmed for pouring champagne and cutting cake ___
- Those giving toasts alerted and coached ___
- Individual’s assigned to retrieve microphone as necessary ___
- Cake cutting knife and cake server in position ___
- All “players” advised and coached prior to cue time ___
